Combat sports coverage has a problem. Most outlets pick a lane — UFC or boxing — and treat everything else as secondary. Sherdog is MMA-focused. The boxing sites barely acknowledge MMA exists. And when it comes to BKFC, PFL, or Rizin? Most of the mainstream outlets cover those events the way they’d cover a minor league game: a quick recap, no analysis, move on.

Main Card Media was built to fix that. We cover every major combat sports organization with the same editorial depth and the same respect for the athletes involved. A BKFC main event deserves a real fight preview. A Rizin card deserves a proper breakdown, even if it starts at 3am Eastern. The PFL’s unique season structure deserves coverage that actually explains why it matters.

What We Cover

The short answer: if it’s on the main card, it’s our business.

On the MMA side, that means the UFC first and foremost, but also the PFL, Bellator, Rizin Fighting Federation, and ONE Championship. We track fighter signings, title pictures, and rankings across all of them.

In boxing, we cover the major promotions: Zuffa Boxing, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Matchroom (Eddie Hearn’s operation), and Premier Boxing Champions. Boxing has never had a shortage of content, but it has a shortage of content that treats fans like they understand the sport. We won’t explain the basics to you. We’ll argue about whether the right fighter won.

And in bare knuckle fighting, BKFC has been one of the fastest-growing combat sports promotions in the country for several years running. It still gets treated like a novelty. We take it seriously.

The Stance

Main Card Media doesn’t do corporate spin. If a fight was bad, we’ll say it. If a stoppage was early or late, we’ll say so. If a fighter is being mismanaged or a promotion is making a mistake, that’s a story too. You won’t see the UFC treated as the only organization that matters while everyone else gets the scraps of our attention.
